| Community Cleanup is Sept. 25 We can help make our community shine by volunteering for the Bartow Community  Cleanup on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 7-10 a.m.Volunteers will meet at Carver Recreation Center, 520 Idlewood Ave. South, at 7 a.m. Gloves, bags, water and lunch will be provided. CDC/COVID-19 guidelines will be followed. Community service hours can be earned. Sponsors of the event are the City of Bartow, St. James AME Sons of Allen, Bartow Chamber of Commerce, Mamie Carter Real Estate Professional, Raford homes LLC, Marco's Pizza, Keep Polk County Beautiful, and Subway.
