Virtual Reality Demos

Optima Classical Academy (OCA), the world’s first and only tuition-free virtual reality (VR) charter school, is heading to Lakeland to host an in-person, early access demonstration of the curriculum and technology on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Catapult Lakeland located at 502 E Main Street starting at 6 pm. OCA will demo its live VR curriculum, allowing students and families to experience how thousands of Florida students will attend school – an immersive, independent, and collaborative approach to education. Families and students will also hear how the live instruction will work for students and teachers, and unveil the VR headsets provided to each student free of charge.
