About Us
Peace River Center (PRC)
is a private, not-for-profit, community mental health organization. We have been providing Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties in Florida with quality mental and behavioral health care services for over 62 years. With facilities across three counties, Peace River Center is equipped to offer a variety of treatment options to children and adults in many different settings. Peace River Center is Accredited by The Joint Commission.
Services offered by Peace River Center include Crisis Stabilization Unit, Outpatient Counseling, Psychiatric/Medical, Adult Residential Treatment, Case Management, Substance Abuse, Domestic Violence and Rape Recovery programs, and 24-hour Crisis Hotline services.
Peace River Center serves about 4,000 clients a month.
